IXXI.NU - A NEW WALL EXPERIENCE

We have new walls that we need to decorate so I found this fun wall decorative system and we want to give it a try.

It's called ixxi, a play with letters since the way the whole system works is by conecting the X's and the I's to create just about anything you want on your wall.

With ixxi, you can use your own photos and ideas or you can just purchase an already created masterpiece. They are based in the Netherlands and have collaborated with many artists and museums, for example with the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam, as well as with studio boot. The images below are from the LOCO special collection by studio Boot. Enjoy!

DITTO - (SUN)GLASSES YOU'LL LOVE!!

I know I have been away for some time now but I was gone for a couple days to Mexico City and don't worry I have amaze info about that later, but before I wanted to talk about something that I fell in love with...  

During Swim Week I had the chance to meet Kate Endress and she introduced me to her new project DITTO! As the CEO and Cofounder she got me very interested in her new company and I had to give it a chance.

Once you try it you will love it!! It is the new way of buying (sun)glasses online. I mean, you know that before you never felt 100% about getting a pair of shades online since you could not try them on, but now you can see how they look on you, compare them and even ask others to tell you which pair looks amazing on you!!

I have tried it and its soooo easy. You only have to create your ditto with a webcam by turning your head to the left and then to the right and its done!! After you are ready to try hundreds and hundreds of pairs without actually trying them on!!!

I got a pair of Chloe sunglasses and look how they look amost the same on the website than the real ones!!

Also I found this video by Grasie that also explains exactly how it works, what I loved is that she is just as excited as I am about DITTO!

SWIM SOIREE @ THE RALEIGH

I got to spend an afternoon by the Raleigh Pool!!! It was sooo hot hot hot that I really thought I would melt but thanks to the coconut water and the endless sun cream by hawaiian tropic I survived and had great time... 

It was a mix of fashionistas, party hoppers and hot bodies so I guess I have to hit the gym more and more now that I am in miami. 

VOGUE + CLARINS @ THE WEBSTER FOR SWIM WEEK 2013

As promissed I am going to let you know what went on this past weekend at the MB SWIM WEEK events.

One hot ticket was the Vogue + Clarins Soiree hosted by Laure Heriard Dubreuil at no other place than The Webster. Also we had the chance to meet and chat with Anne Vincent from Vogue and Melissa Barrett Rhodes from Clarins. 

As you know The Webster is my favorite boutique in Miami and also the people working there are like family so I am always down for spending a couple hours drinking and listening to some music surrounded by beautiful pieces!!
